How does the treatment work?
The laser produces a concentrated beam of light that vaporizes the pigment located in the hair follicle to eliminate or significantly reduce the hair re-growth. Unlike electrolysis, which kills one hair follicle at a time, laser hair removal reaches and treats hundreds of follicles at a time.
What is the treatment like?
You will experience a pinprick or snapping heat sensation. A topical anesthetic, however, markedly decreases any pain. The effects on the skin are minor and may include redness and slight swelling, which disappear within 24 to 48 hours.
What improvements will I see?
Multiple treatment sessions are typically required for permanent hair reduction. The hair grows back sparser, finer, and softer with each treatment.
