Collagen
Collagen injections replenish the skin’s natural collagen layer. Dr. Parker uses collagen to erase fine lines around the lips, as well as smile lines and marionette lines. Collagen comes in two forms: bovine collagen and genetically engineered human collagen. Bovine collagen requires skin testing to rule out allergic reaction. After the test injection, 30-day waiting period is necessary before the injection of the bovine collagen. Human engineered collagen requires no waiting period and can be used immediately without risk of allergic reaction.

Bovine collagen is available in three forms: Zyplast, Zyderm I, and Zyderm II. Human engineered collagen is available in two forms: Cosmoplast and Cosmoderm. Cosmoplast and Zyplast are also used to plump thin lips.

Restylane
If your wrinkles are moderate to severe, then Dr. Parker may choose Restylane to correct deep facial creases and smile lines. Restylane is derived from hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the body providing volume and fullness to the skin. It may also be used to enhance lips.

Sili K
Saucer-shaped acne scars are effectively treated by filling them with micro droplets of Sili K.
Sili K is an FDA approved form of injectable liquid silicon. The injection of micro droplets of Sili K stimulates the body to produce new collagen surrounding the droplet. As new collagen forms, saucer-shaped acne scars are filled from the inside out, giving the skin a smooth, unscarred appearance. Sili K is also used to permanently enhance lips.
