Thermage®
Thermage® treatment sends radio frequencies to the deepest layers of your skin. This causes them to contract, giving you tighter surface layers of skin. The effects of this tightening are especially beneficial in fighting drooping eyelids and sagging jaw lines. These radio frequencies also spur collagen production, which gives your skin boosted elasticity.
Treatment involves fast, successive intervals of cold and heat in order to give you optimal treatment while maintaining your comfort. Dr. Parker may also give you medication to help reduce any discomfort. Immediately after treatment, you may notice that your skin feels tighter. However, your skin will show no redness or other signs of treatment, and you can return to normal activity immediately.
Most patients experience continuing tissue tightening and skin tone improvement in the eight to sixteen weeks following Thermage® treatment. The final results become apparent after about four to six months. The results are not as dramatic as those achieved through surgery, but Thermage® is a great way for patients experiencing early signs of aging to soften these features, or to preserve the effects of surgical treatments such as facelifts.
CoolTouch®
CoolTouch® employs laser energy to deliver the skin tightening and wrinkle reduction results you wish to achieve. The technique delivers gentle pulses of laser light to the deep tissues of the skin. This energy triggers collagen production, causing skin to tighten and wrinkles to soften. The treatment takes less than an hour. You may experience some redness in the treated area for about an hour after treatment, but you can resume your regular activities immediately.
Results are achieved over the span of multiple treatments. Patients usually undergo three to five treatments over a period of two to four months. Dr. Parker can recommend a treatment plan specifically for you, based on the results you wish to achieve.
